Trust God From The Bottom of Your Heart

What else is there when we are chronically ill and feel hopeless, we trust God from the bottom of our hearts. I love how He loves us when we trust Him. We simply cannot figure out EVERYTHING on our own.

I have a history with God with story after story of how He came through, especially during the times when I was still and trusted Him — from the bottom of my heart.

Chronic illness has brought many opportunities to practice this kind of trust and to see what He does with it.

Chronic illness is complicated, complex, mind-boggling, scary, and very personal. We simply do not have the ability to figure it all out for ourselves.

Sometimes when we slow down enough to be still in Him, we hear His loving kind voice of wisdom. He reminds us of His presence and informs us of wise health-care steps to take for our particular health situation.

No one but God has that ability, NO ONE.

What works for one who is chronically ill, most likely won’t work for another. He knows what it will take for our “bodies to glow with health and our bones to vibrate with life.”

Trust God from the bottom of your heart;
    don’t try to figure out everything on your own.
Listen for God’s voice in everything you do, everywhere you go;
    he’s the one who will keep you on track.
Don’t assume that you know it all.
    Run to God! Run from evil!
Your body will glow with health,
    your very bones will vibrate with life!
Honor God with everything you own;
    give him the first and the best.
Your barns will burst,
    your wine vats will brim over.
But don’t, dear friend, resent God’s discipline;
    don’t sulk under his loving correction.
It’s the child he loves that God corrects;
    a father’s delight is behind all this.

~ Proverbs 3:5-12 (MSG)

Slow down, breath in the breath of life, be still, listen and trust with ALL your heart. He is there, waiting for you.

What is God telling YOU about this?
