Rising up is hard enough during chronic illness. And God wants us to make an epic rise, RIGHT!!! So how do we do this? How in tarnation with all of the illness, the troubles, the problems, the pain, the suffering are we supposed to accomplish an epic rise?
All we need to know is the next step. That is it. Just the next step.
No matter how many steps we have already taken, take the next step…
What is the next step for this moment for today? There are plenty of worries for tomorrow. When we find ourselves stuck, stick with today.
I know that anyone with chronic illness has already taken steps galore. We have climbed mountains simply to endure and survive. I get it.
Keep stepin’.
Choosing to take the next step today IS an epic rise.
It is reading our Bibles, getting to know God, living in His will and living in confidence of every step we take. When we are in submission to God’s will, we have peace. That does not mean, necessarily, that all illness will disappear today. God’s will sometimes comes with us staying in the oven longer, continued refining.
It is not hard to figure out the next step when we are viewing life from God’s eyes, His eternal vision. Ask Him, seek Him and then LISTEN to Him. He will order your steps. He will keep you on the right path.
When we choose His steps, we are nourished instead of depleted.
HE will create an epic rise each and every day of your healing journey.
