Fun easy trackable reading scripture through The Bible Project. They now have an app that holds our hands right through the year as we move through the Bible, reading, growing, learning. This company has helped to bring the Bible to life and in bite-size pieces for greater understanding. Let them walk you through the beauty and wisdom that God created in the Bible and The Bible Project animated it for adults and children to enjoy.
God’s Word can be a ball to explore, learn, and get lost in. Reading it once a year can seem intimidating but it can be done with great ease when someone else has outlined it for us and will hand hold us right through the process.
They break this up into 16 chapters which have “sessions.” These sessions are only 15-20 minutes a piece so we can do this in one easy sitting.
The Bible Project has arranged everything so simple. They even include theme videos to help keep our interest and focus as we move through the Bible in a year.
One of the things they do is remind us what the point of the story is. Have you ever read through Genesis and learned from every one of the stories but forgot what the main point was that God was trying to reveal? The Bible Project reminds of the main point so we stay focused as we can become engrossed in the eventful stories of the Bible.
This is SO cool!!!! They even remind us to take a deep breath as we begin to spend time with God.
At the end of the session, they move us into a time of prayer and we meditate on a Psalm.
All of this is in a format that any adult can learn and grow from AND any child can be entertained from while they learn and grow on their level.
I am on their mailing list and they recently sent out a notice for their “Read Scripture” App. I am not great with modern technology and I was even able to get this on my phone with no problems.
