The simplicity of HE IS calms everything. When my thinking gets scrambled and I think more on destructive thoughts instead of God, I listen to things that help redirect my thoughts. Those redirected thoughts help to redirect my actions. Sometimes keeping it simple works best for me. HE IS… is about as simple as it is going to get. Yet it has a profound impact on one’s mind and heart while getting thoughts redirected.
Our hearts and souls can be secure in Christ while at the same time have some goofy thinking going on. When I hear myself bad-talking myself I know I need some serious redirect. In a way, I am bashing my Creator. God made each and every one of us exactly how He desires, made with love, wonderfully and fearfully created. He is the firstborn of every creature. So when I bash on myself, I am saying He did not get it right, that HE failed. Yet I know He did not. I was made a human, with flaws and all. Those flaws are what help keep me in check to draw me back to the Lord every time I wander in my thinking.
Time to fill my thoughts with who HE IS…. Not who I see in myself with my failures. As my focus shifts to the Almighty God instead of me, I end up seeing myself in a more gentle and loving way, a child of the Living God. As I am not so hard on myself, I am not so hard on others and I have more to give instead of taking.
“But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.“ Hebrews 11:6 KJV
Focusing on who HE IS calms my physical body which helps me to heal better from chronic illness so that I can better serve Him. Lord, keep me on your healing path.
Sometimes I need to keep things this simple, HE IS! Calming my mind calms my spirit which calms my body. Eric Ludy created He is, The Names of God. Anytime you need to be calmed, reassured, reminded, protected, provided for or want to praise God for who He is, listen and watch this that may help to redirect your thoughts to Him and your beauty because of Him.
How do you redirect your precious mind to your glorious Father?
